BTEC Sport Level 3

BTEC Sport Level 3 is offered as an option to study in Year 12.  It is equivalent to one A'Level and further develops the students understanding of sport building upon their knowledge gained in Level 2.

Assessment - students will be assessed over the two-year period through examinations and coursework units.  The written exams focus on the anatomy and physiology of the human body in relation to sport in Year 12, and a synoptic exam in Year 13.  The coursework investigates sporting careers and an optional unit.
