KS4 Computer Science Curriculum Model

“A ship in port is safe, but that is not what ships are for. Sail out to sea and do new things.”- Rear Admiral Grace Hopper

The KS4 curriculum model in Computer Science builds on prior knowledge at KS3 revisiting some previous topics to deepen the girl’s understanding and knowledge. The KS4 curriculum is based on the GCSE OCR Computer Science Specification.

The girls who take Computer Science at GCSE will be expected to complete two exam papers in the summer of Year 11.

The two papers are:

J277/01- Computer Systems

J277/02- Computational Thinking, Algorithms and Programming.
