Sociology
The word sociology means the study of society, for all time people have reflected and evaluated the conditions under which they live be it through painting, literature, philosophy or religion. Sociology as a subject gives you the opportunity to explicitly delve into the maze that is human society, question untested assumptions and begin to understand the world that surrounds us.
We follow an AA specification which assesses students through three examinations at the end of the second year of study. There is no coursework element.
